Facilities Plant Operator
The Facilities Plant Operator will operate and monitor electromechanical plant and building systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation across assigned facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor mechanical and electromechanical plant.
Monitor HVAC, air-conditioning, and cooling systems.
Monitor and operate BMS systems.
Conduct routine plant inspections and operational checks.
Identify equipment abnormalities and technical faults.
Escalate maintenance requirements to technical teams.
Maintain accurate operational logs and records.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Requirements
Technical qualification in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electromechanical disciplines.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
3 years' experience as a Plant Operator within schools and kindergartens.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and cooling systems.
Good knowledge of electromechanical operational requirements and BMS systems.
Relevant technical certifications preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
English required; Arabic preferred.
